Our annual Ladies Day Luncheon fundraiser and luncheon will showcase keynote speaker & local author, Christina Clancy.

This luncheon will feature her 2nd novel, “Shoulder Season,” a fictional story based in the small towns of Lake Geneva and East Troy in 1981. It’s about a young woman coming into her own, the youthful allure of sex, drugs, and rock & roll, and what we lose—and gain—when we leave home.

The focus is on 19 year old Sherri Taylor as she takes a summer job as an unlikely bunny at the infamous Playboy Resort. It captures a nostalgic and fleeting moment in history.

Memorabilia from the Playboy Resort will be on hand to bring her novel to ‘life!’ 

Christina Clancy grew up in Milwaukee, and her husband is from East Troy, where Christina spent many summers. Shoulder Season was released in 2021 and has been optioned by TriStar for a limited television series.
